Client publishes “JY Ranch: Historic American Buildings Survey Documentation”
The Estate of Laurance S. Rockefeller has published JY Ranch: Historic American Buildings Survey Documentation, a 228-page large format book with an extraordinary collection of hand drawn, highly detailed architectural drawings, beautiful black and white photographs, and comprehensive architectural descriptions of the Lodge, Recreation Hall and 27 other cabins and structures found on the JY Ranch, a family retreat owned by Laurance S. Rockefeller in the Grand Teton National Park.


Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve Center Opens to the Public
Superintendent Mary Gibson Scott and the staff of Grand Teton National Park, the family and associates of Laurance S. Rockefeller, former Assistant Secretary of State John Turner, and approximately 175 guests joined together on Saturday, June 21, 2008, for a dedication ceremony to mark the grand opening of the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve Center.

CW achieves protected sale of Carter’s Grove
The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation announces the successful transfer of the 400-acre Carter's Grove Plantation, a National Historic Register property, to a private buyer. The sale was subject to conservation easements that restrict development and protect the site's historic, architectural, visual, archaeological and environmental resources. D. R. Horne & Company helped the Foundation develop and implement the protected sale strategy for Carter's Grove.
